The Romix Essentials Exercise Fitness Ball is fairly easy enough to pump up with the additional pump that comes with it. It is a perfect resource for stretching and exercising as well as yoga and physio. Good quality and good value.

Took a couple of minutes to inflate, seems very sturdy from first use (extended planks). Very pleased; means I can keep my core strength up with some home exercise now the gyms are shut.

It is a mat, does what it is supposed to

It’s really handy you get a pump included here as the last ball I bought didn’t have one. It’s a cheap pump but does the job. If you have pumps kicking around for bikes, footballs etc with the correct adapter you might find one of them a bit more efficient to use. This seems a sold ball made from decent thick sturdy material. I have it at home partly for home workouts but also because of hamstring problems. I regularly suffer from hamstring cramp and this is great to do some nice slow stretching exercises on it. The 75cm sized is the ideal size for me to be able stretch my hamstrings on it. There’s no exercise sheet or booklet included so if you’re new to using such equipment you’ll need to do a bit of googling or YouTubing but there’s plenty of ideas out there.

Very good. I’ve been considering one of these inflatable yoga balls for a long time and am very pleased with this one. It’s a decent size. I have also obtained another make that is supposed to be the same dimensions but when both are inflated the Romixone is considerably bigger which I prefer. It is very easy to inflate, just a few minutes with the hand pump supplied. It also comes with a plastic peg to insert once inflated to stop the air coming out and also a little tool to remove the peg if you want it to deflate. So far it’s taken a lot of being bounced up and down upon and is still fully inflated, it’s also a rather nice purple colour.

This is a review for Romix. Essentials Exercise Fitness Ball Yoga Swiss Ball with Hand Pump for Home and Gym 65cm (Red)I have used this ball as a chair, because when using it it does wonders for strengthening core, back, and abdominal muscles, as you’re having to balance using these. They rarely get a proper work out, but sitting on this for an hour, say when working with a laptop at a low table or just when chatting with friends, it’s no problem and definitely worthwhile.I am very happy with the quality of the ball: the material seems to be of very high quality. There’s not much of a guide for usage included, although the internet is wonderful for that, anyway. The whole thing comes in a surprisingly small box.All in all, very useful, and does the job very well.

The texture of this is rather strange. Even after some time it still feels as if it is a slightly clammy surface. That does mean that it doesn’t slip as a smoother surface would do but over time I expect this would quite easily become quite dirty so I would be happy with this for personal use but not in a gym where it would get a lot more use and shared between several people. The only real criticism is the pump which is utterly useless but to be honest I hadn’t noticed that a pump was included in the package until I opened it so it was seemingly a bonus until I tried to use it and realised it was going to take forever to inflate using the provided pump and used one of the pumps I already have.So absolutely fine for personal use but throw the pump in the bin and don’t use it in a shared gym.

We were advised to purchase an exercise ball to aid with posture and balance. It took us a while to inflate but once completed satisfactorily it is as good to assist with both these issues.

This is a very good exercise ball. It was very easy to blow up. Took me under 10 minutes and took less time for the children to steal it and claim it as theirs. It is good for my exercise. Helping me do more exercises and strengthen my core without causing too much body strain. It also helps with the kids to strengthen them. The older one is hypermobile and the little one isn’t as strong due to poor health. So a win-win for the whole family. Everyone gets help. The ball is very strong and durable and I can see it lasting for a long time. Even when we aren’t doing exercises the kids are using it to play.

Good quality and size. Thicker that some other mats offering more comfort font floor work but not too thick to be cumbersome. Good value price.

I’m very happy with my purchase. Finally I can do my floor exercises in comfort. And the strap makes transporting it easy.

Romix yoga ball.. I received this yoga ball in blue. Exercise balls are excellent for yoga pilates or core strengthening exercises also for glutes and chest too. This exercise ball is premium quality and made from anti burst PVC thick and non slip. It is easy to hold as it has a nice grip. It comes with a pump and was quite easy to use. The only issue I have with this product is that it didn’t come with instructions and I wouldn’t have known that you only pump it to 80% for 24 hours and finish off after that period if I hadn’t checked online. After 24 hours it kept air in well and my weight wasn’t a problem to the ball too. This definitely is of excellent quality and I can see it lasting for long time, however due to the fact it didn’t come with instructions and help how to use this ball in the package I’m going to deduct 1 star so 4 stars from me

Matt has survived 3 months of daily HIIT classes and hasn’t torn or split! It definitely has wrinkled and slips when used on tiles (no type of grip on the bottom) but perfect on carpet. We can definitely recommend this product

Our gym ball arrived promptly and inflated well, though I did use an electric pump we already had. It would have taken a long time had I used the hand pump provided. It is very sturdy and comfortable and is used in a daily basis by my daughter to ease her sensory needs, which it does brilliantly!

I’ve had a Swiss exercise ball like this for over 8 years, and it’s served me well. Unfortunately, the seal is not as good as it used to be, so I was happy to select this almost identical replacement.Inflating it with the supplied hand pump took just over 5 minutes – though younger, fitter people will take less time, I expect. It also comes with 2 spigot-type plugs (one spare), and a small plastic spanner for removing the plug to deflate the ball quickly without damaging the material.Unlike my previous ball, there is no enclosed leaflet with illustrated exercise suggestions, but there are lots to be found on the Internet. I mostly use mine to strengthen my back and stomach muscles, and find it very beneficial. I’ve only been using this new ball for a couple of weeks and, so far, there has been no noticeable loss of air. Should this change, I’ll update my review.

I’ve always used exercise balls at the gym, they’re great for stretching at the end of a session or working your core given the need to stabilise it when say doing pectoral flies or doing some crunches. This ball is just the right size, took 3 minutes to pump up I would say and has kept its shape and size for a couple weeks now.My children have battered it about and I’ve put my some 100kg frame on it for extended times and it’s stuck to the job.It has no faults as far as I can see. 10/10

Exercise balls are not only good for exercising, but also work well to help strengthen the core back and abdominal muscles when used as a chair. The instability of the ball means that the user will work on their muscles when they try to keep the balance and it is often used for training after injuries. We sometimes use these at home as a replacement for the chairs for when we watch TV or sit around the table. It’s good for that and as neither of us exactly have the balance of a line dancer, it is a good and necessary exercise. It’s important to choose the right size for you if you use it for this purpose. The knees should be level and slightly lower than the pelvis at about 90 degrees (which means thighs are parallel with ground or pointed down slightly). These general measurements might help towards finding the right size:45 cm ball – for people 5 foot/153 cm or shorter55 cm ball – for people approx. 5’1 – 5’8/ 154-176 cm65 cm ball – for people approx. 5’9-6’2/ 177-190 cm75 cm ball – fro people approx. 6’3 – 6’7 / 191 – 205 cm85 cm ball – for people 6’8 / 206 cm or tallerDo note that if you are on the heavy side, you might have to get a ball that is a bit larger as the weight will push down and compress the ball slightly, but the best thing is to pump it up and see if you have the right angle. The quality of these Eono balls is good. They are sturdy and well finished in good colours. The hand pump is so-so, but it will get there eventually. It would have been great to have some workout instructions included for beginners. Both when it comes to actual workout but also with general guidelines for the correct size, posture etc.

I have spinal stenosis and suffer from a lot of back pain. I have often joked and said I need to be put on a rack and stretched as my back feels compressed a lot of the time. This is not a rack, but it is the next best thing and much kinder. The ball arrives flat ready to inflate, you get a foot pump with it to make the task easy. The foot pump is a bellows type and is very effective. The pump when used slowly does make a noise like a dog’s squeaky toy, that was fun lol, I have included the video of that to make you smile. I had looked at these last year but then I was 5 stone heavier and worried about using one. I still have a way to go with weight loss but feel confident in the ball holding my weight. It is made from a very durable PVC that is soft to the tough and doesn’t feel cold. The difference it makes to my back is amazing, it is extremely relaxing to stretch my back over the ball. I have watched some physio videos showing how to do spine decompression and it feels amazing afterwards. Doing it 3 times a day is making a difference to my pain levels. I have plucked up the courage to sit on the ball and it is super strong and very good for posture. It can be used while watching TV, listening to music or audio books, much better than slouching on the settee and when I do slouch on the settee the ball makes a brilliant foot rest.Fantastic price.

I have just a couple of problems with it though. The pump isn’t that good and there are no exercises or instructions with it. It was hard inflating the ball with the pump that came with it and we ended up using a different one. I’d have liked some exercises I could do with the ball to have been included. Other than those two, small, problems I’m pleased with this. It’s a really good quality ball and I think it’s good value for money.
A John –
For those who do yoga or pilates, an exercise ball is useful. This is a very sturdy version. Pump is via a hand pump, which is reasonably effective; it took me just over 10 minutes. I would have preferred a nozzle that fitted a bicycle pump; this did leak air as it got near the end, but it was ok. There are also plugs to put in then to hold the air. Once pumped up it is relatively easy to use to support leg exercises.

Product seems fine, just that the red is nowhere near that of advertised, it is more of a light lilac. This doesn’t affect use but is disappointing as I wanted for this colour to come back into stock.

This mat is simply splendid. When I lay down, I feel as if I am flying through the clouds on the back of a majestic unicorn. My spine has never been as cushioned. As I am an ex aqua aerobic athlete from London’s 2012 Olympic Games, I can use this mat to practice my moves. I’ve still got it! My favourite aqua aerobics move is the Big Ben 5000.

Nice ball that inflates quite easily and is as firm as the old branded one I used to have a few years ago.I’ve had it inflated for about three weeks now and use it daily either as part of my workout or to sit on as a core strengthener while watching telly. It hasn’t lost its firmness so it’s great that I don’t have to keep pumping it up.I’ve got several Romix products and I have confidence in the brand now. They’re decent quality and good value for the price.I like this ball and if you have the space for something like this, then this one is a good choice.
Jeff Clark –
I cheated, I have a compressor in my garage there was no way I was using the little pump that came with it, it looks like it would take an age to pump up.Once inflated, less than 20 seconds, the ball looks good and feels sturdy, we have had a similar ball for around 10 years, and it has seen quite some service from us plus nephews and nieces tend to treat it as a toy, jumping about on it sometimes loading it with two or three of them at one time, this looks just as robust but of course only time will tell.So far so good, the price tag is quite low and I can’t find any problems with it so it will have a five star rating which will get edited should anything untoward arise.JC
E. L. Wisty –
You get a small hand pump with this. While it will do the job if there’s really nothing else you’re better off using something else if available. I used a foot pump for inflating car tyres, and it took around 15 minutes overall to inflate even with that, and I shudder to think how much time it would take with that small hand pump – your arm would probably drop off. Note that the instructions recommend you first leave it a couple of hours to reach ambient temperature, partly inflate it (80% of final diameter), and leave for 24 hours before inflating to the final size and then leaving another 24 hours before use. It’s not clear why this would be necessary, but I did it anyway. The plug fits fine and gives a proper seal, and you get a spare plug too. There is also a small tool to assist with removing the plug which makes it a bit easier. Cosmetically, even after inflated the surface of the ball retains the traces of numerous kinks from how the ball was folded when flat, but this doesn’t affect the usability. I just note it because I’ve never seen this with the couple of gym balls I’ve had previously. It’s a perfectly fine gym ball. I can’t comment on value for money because no price is quoted for this at the time of writing.

ROMIX exercise ball 65CM with pump.Excellent anti burst ball, came with a pump and plug puller tool.My step daughter is expecting a baby in 4 weeks, I thought this may be of some use, using this ball she is able to gently move and stretch at her own pace, her midwife approved of its use and suggested she bring it with her when she is due. The thickness of the ball and it’s subtle ridges made her feel safe and secure while using it, most clothes gripped well and she did not feel like she was sliding off at all.Inflating this ball with the supplied pump takes about 6-7 mins of pumping non stop. The air escapes very slowly when changing the pump for the ball plug so there is no wasted effort form all that pumping. However, deflating the ball takes a long time if you wanted to flat pack it, as an example – I removed the plug (a tool for that is also provided) then sat in the ball and set a timer, after 20 mins the ball was only just half way deflated.I did not notice at first but another plug had fallen out of the box, it has a home in the top but but the bottom, I’m sure what that one is for as there are no instructions but minus that the ball and pump is easy to use.Totally good value for money, and it has survived having cats in the house so far!
