I feel completely secure when using this bar. I went for the non screw option where it twists into place and there isn’t even a hint of give. There is no sign of it damaging the doorframe and it’s unobtrusive enough to be left up between uses – at least in an empty doorframe/where the door does not need to be closed.

Really easy to put up I’ve had a few chin up bars in the past but this is the most sturdy one I’ve had no worries about it breaking once it’s up feels solid, good thing is you don’t put screws into your door frame , the bad points about it are the instructions aren’t very clear on how to put it up but once you work it out it’s really easy also you can’t do wide grip pull ups because of the fittings and clips at both ends but overall a great solid chin up bar

I’m confident this is one of the very best pull-up/chin-up bars available on Amazon — it may, in fact, be the best.Quality-wise, it is build to last this lifetime and many lifetimes thereafter! Definitely will not break / get damaged. The securing mechanism is a work of art: Intelligently thought-out, very well manufactured and easy to install / adjust. The design very cleverly forces more securement onto the door frame the more weight one puts onto the bar — brilliant!Let me be frank, if you have the extra money, and, you’re serious about your chin-up bar, and want your chin-up bar to last for life, put this very high on your selection list — it’s that good!Note: I removed the aluminium / silver “securing clasps” on each end of the bar — they’re not needed, and, simply get in the way when one is trying to gain maximum width with one’s chin-up’s in order to target one’s laterals in a more focused/isolated way. Removing these also makes it far, far easier to adjust the bar’s securing onto the doorframe, and, naturally provides far more adjustment/functionality, ESPECIALLY FOR NARROWER DOORWAYS. Removal of these clasps will not make this un-safe, as, once in position on the door frame, it’s not at all easy / possible to loosen the bar. Thus, these clasps are merely an “added” safety measure that are not needed at all.Buy this product with absolute confidence, it’s simply amazing — compliments to the manufacturers!Lastly, MEASURE YOUR DOORFRAME WIDTH before purchasing this product, based on the usable width adjustment of this product!

This is an extremely solid bar when installed properly. I weigh about 90kg and it hasn’t moved an inch.I would, however, take one star off for the neoprene handles that cover the aluminium bars – they aren’t that comfortable as they have a tendency to slip a bit. This is only a minor grip though. Generally I am happy that the bar stays where it’s supposed to between the walls!

Bought this to improve my Upper Body Strength and help keep old age at bay. Verified Reviews steered me towards this item and seller and I’m very happy with my purchase. Bar is well made, strong, easy to install although the instructions could be clearer but getting your brain working is a “hidden” health benefit. Very happy user and will take it steady as I build up to being able to multiple pull-ups….

Great solid feeling bar.. Quite difficult to fit to door frame on your own though. As you twist the main bar to expand the bar both ends spin which stops the bar tightening against the frame. You need to try and stop one end spinning and push the other end against the frame which can be difficult with the weight of the bar. Once it’s tight though it is very secure.

This is a great product very secure. Only issue i found and the reason it’s 4 and not 5 star is it will slowly loosen over time and requires tightning every so often. Other than that it’s perfect, Works really well, so easy to set up took 3-4 minutes. Just have to be sure you have a wide enough door frame since the pads are quite large.
Victoria Mcnaught –
Very impressed. It was easy to put up and despite aaaall my worry, hasn’t budged an inch! We’re even using gymnastic rings on it now and it just stays put.I find it a bit difficult to hang on to if I’m using the velcro grips that come with it, due to smaller hands. It’s a bit bulky where it folds over and can spin around if I don’t get it right. I seem to do better if half my hand is on the grip and half on the metal, so if you’re like me you might want to get thinner grips.

Looks massive but held me in door frames and I am 130kg. Wife and girls love it for sit ups, pull ups, simple gymnastics routines. Easy to fit and amend.

Good sturdy product. A bit fiddly at first but easy once you understand it. It is very strong and can support pretty much any size user I’d imagine. Starting to notice a small separation at the door seems though so be aware this could happen.

Hisham –
This is a really easy to set up and use pull-up bar. It’s made pretty solidly. The included instructions were easy to follow and it works really well in out door frames.Seems pretty reasonably priced too.
Georgie –
This is a great item, set up is easy and the bar is extremely sturdy once you get it into position, which at first might be tricky but after that is easy. It’s expensive for what it is, but is does what it says and won’t leave a mark on your door frame!
Abhi –
Loved this bar. I struggled with fitting it against the wall, the instructions could be clearer on how to tighten it. But wow the sturdiness and grip is amazing. I ordered few resistance bands after and combination of these two, will be enough to do good muscle ups.The bar once extended enough to cover the distance between walls, remember to hold one side and twist the middle of the bar in pointed direction (I think it is towards you) and the other end of the bar will fix itself against the wall.I haven’t seen any marks left on the wall. If you’ve concrete walls, better to use with it as wooden doorframes may develop cracks; the bar is as strong as that.

I have had this for a couple of months now and after having installed this initially it hasn’t budged an inch. Solid as a rock. I use it to exercise it on a daily basis and I haven’t had any concerns in terms of stability, grip or sturdiness. This thing will not move. Granted it did crack the paint on my walls but I put it in a cupboard so not that stressed about that. For reference I weigh roughly 200 lbs and this thing can take my weight without any issue.

Parfait, un peu complexe à installer, mais tiens parfaitement, je pèse plus de 100kgs et elle ne bouge pas.
AT –
Sturdy build, Setup isn’t too difficult with clamps to expand the bar and twist to fully secure against your door frame. Just make sure that the ends are pointing the right way up/down. The main gripe I have is the width of the bar. It’s pretty much shoulder width which is fine, but if you wish to have a wider grip to vary your work out, you’re out of luck. Of course they have designed this to fit a conventional door which is only so wide. Apart from that, it’s a great piece of kit that looks good too.
Amazon Customer –
It’s now part of his regular exercise routine as he doesn’t want to go to a gym yet but felt he couldn’t progress his exercise routine without some sort of equipment.

top pull bar!

Pericolosa e inaffidabile
Sanda –
This product works well, the only detraction being badly translated instructions which make fitting a bit more confusing than it needs to be. But once properly in place in a door frame it grips remarkably well. A useful keep-fit aid as you can use it each time you go past.
Amazon Customer –
Very good pull up bar – exactly as advertised, but note that you cannot do wide-grip pull ups on this. The metal extension brackets are less than 50cm apart, meaning only shoulder-width grip is possible.
Sam Beesley –
Great product that could be a little cheaper.Easy to setup, very sturdy and strong but I feel like it was a very expensive version of what everyone else was offering. Only bought this one because it was the only thing available. Not a bad product at all, but again probably would have gone with a cheaper option.
Asreal –
I’d been considering buying one of these for a while, only I wanted something I could hide away when I had visitors. My main concern before buying this was with it being loose and causing myself an injury. This is a really sturdy design (it weighs a ton!) and is built so that it’s feet “push out” a bit when you pull down on it. This ensures it stays where it is supposed to.Being worried about headbutting the top of my door frame, I’ve had this set at waist height and used it to start with some easier pullups to start with. This felt safer and I was relieved that it didn’t leave any blue marks or indentations in the door frame I had chosen to use it on. (Albeit, I did choose a sturdy frame in our garage that nobody would care about if something did happen.)Well worth a buy if you don’t want to look like an idiot on the pullup bars at your local park!

This is arguably dangerous because it can come down mid chin ups.You have to remember to tighten it on a regular basis. You cannot really depend on it.It seems very good initially.I would be very careful.
Rahul –
What attracted me to this pull up was the fact theres no drilling included, its portable and it looked sturdy looking at the images and hinge system. I was correct. Now don’t get me wrong some parts are made from cheaper materials so there is a higher tier but given the price its good quality. It was straight forward to assemble and I use it daily. It doesn’t hurt your hands when using it either.
Jackiechua –
It is a very sturdy equipment. Not that easy to install, you’ll need someone to hold it up when you try to twist and lock it up. The narrow width so it wasn’t quite comfortable to perform a pull up but chin up is extremely good since chin up requires a narrower grip. So far I love it, could tolerate the pull up
Sajjad –
Perfect

This pull-up bar works perfectly. It’s very well made, sturdy, and doesn’t slip. It doesn’t mark the door frame either. Perfect.

So prior to COVID I really got into trying to be fit, with little wins being the best way to improve. At work I have a pull up bar and every day if I walked past it, I’d have to do 5 pull ups. This progressed daily until I could easily do 20 pull ups. Due to covid and a change to work, I no longer had my pull up bar. I checked on amazon for a proper workout stand, but they were quite expensive. I asked a friend who recommended a door frame pull up bar. I was dubious. But I thought I’d give it a go at that price and am so glad I did. Mine arrived on time, was easy for me to set up (I’m rubbish at anything remotely technical) and I’ve put it by my front door, so everytime I leave or come home I have to do pull ups. Winning. Really recommended this product.
EdFLondon –
This is one super sturdy piece of kit. And it easily adjusts to the doorframe and holds me up, me and my 91kg. Definitely recommend with two caveats: my doors are fairly narrow (at 29″/74cm) and this would work better on a wider door if you need a wider grip.Note that, when in place, it does exert a fair amount of pressure on the door frame.
Oliver Abrahams –
very sturdy product works great

Bought this bar to use with home PT sessions over Zoom. Used stand-alone and with bands for assisted pull ups, face pulls, tricep pull downs etc.It did take me about 15 / 30 minutes to work out how to securely attach it (key is to get it in place then twist the middle bar the right way) but once you’ve got the hang of it it’s easy to put up and down.Totally secure even when using bands or dead hangs. Doorframe paint might need a touch up in the future but to be expected when using this equipment.Overall happy with the purchase.

Absolutely love this pull up bar. So easy to set up and dismantle. Have absolute confidence it won’t fall down while I’m using it.
Matt –
Great addition to the home gym. Just be wary of installing it, make sure you’ve got a sturdy door frame, I tried 3 different frames, 2 cracked (not the fault of the product) before getting one string enough time hold without slipping.

Easy to put up and easily takes my weight 13st, inner/wide grip pull ups no problem

Pros:- Solidly built. Its not going to snap, I am only 80kg but I have no doubts the bar will support my weight over the long term without bending/snapping.- No screwing into the wall required, so less (more on that under cons) damage to walls/doorways.Cons:- somewhat fiddly to lock into place. Seems easy to get in place but have had the bar fall away from the doorway after both the screwing mechanism was tightened as much as possible and the locking system was engaged. Doesn’t do much for your confidence in it!- Not damage-free. After just a few weeks of use it fell off to reveal patterned indentation in the wood which looks permanent and some colour leakage.
