I damaged my knee a few months ago and I’ve been using a brace like this one with success. My old one is getting worn out so I was happy to try a new one. I love the blue colour of this one, so much nicer than plain black. I like to wear my brace over the top of my trousers so that it doesn’t rub against my skin but this brace is a little bit short to do that properly. The top strap just reaches with only the Velcro overlapping, the bottom strap overlaps passed the centre of my knee but the centre strap doesn’t reach at all so I have to fasten it to one of the other straps instead of the actual body of the brace; this means that it doesn’t fit as neatly as I would like. It doesn’t actually reach when worn against my skin either, so I’m not really sure why there is a 3rd strap when it isn’t long enough. The top and bottom straps are the same length, so you could wear it either way up but the centre strap is quite a bit shorter, which seems really strange to me as the centre of my knee isn’t substantially thinner than the top and bottom of it. My legs have more shape to them than the straight legs shown in the product photograph, so maybe this brace is better for skinny people.It is very comfortable to wear and it keeps my knee really warm, which I think aids healing, and the supports down either side of the knee cap helps to keep it stable. I like this brace but I would have liked it better if the centre strap had been the same length as the other 2.

I suffered a relatively minor MCL strain, the kind I would expect to heal fully in about 2-3 weeks provided I do some rehab exercises. I bought this knee support to wear during the working day whilst doing building work that involved a lot of walking in work boots over rough uneven ground. It’s a bit of extra protection whilst I have this MCL issue. It’s well made, from good quality material, it was reasonably straightforward to fit and adjust (there is a video on-line). I am aware through the working day that it has a stiffening effect and provides a bit of extra support to the knee – it doesn’t become loose over time, I don’t need to adjust it once fitted. Brace may be a bit of a product misnomer it doesn’t provide rigid support against lateral movement just some valuable assistance when the tendons are weakened by a non-severe injury or maybe at the latter stages of recovery from a more severe injury.

I think the cartilage has gone in my right knee, which makes it very painful to walk any distance, so I’ve been using this knee brace when walking the dog. It stops my knee moving around, even on rough ground, and means I can walk further, about 3 miles, without it being too painful. I got a couple of different makes but prefer this one at the moment because it’s not a sleeve type so I can wear it over my trousers. I’ve been using it for about 6 weeks now, sometimes in the rain, and it’s still in very good condition so I’m happy to recommend.

This knee support has an open patella design with straps that encircle the leg and fix with velcro. In theory it is more adjustable than the neoprene sleeve designs. Personally, I found it to be on the small side, the Velcro straps only just reached around my leg: they certainly weren’t long enough to wear the support over my tracksuit bottoms. The item itself seems to be well made, so if your leg measures smaller than the measurements given it’s probably a good option.

I won’t show pictures of my knee/lower leg and me wearing this brace, as currently in recovery from major reconstructive surgery last year (9 months ago), and can now look to use a knee support.I saw this and it looked an attractive option as it is open ended with velcro straps.Currently my leg is not its normal size before my op last year and is now quite slim – I would say average bloke size (if there is such a thing). With the size of my leg/knee at the moment, I can fit this support, but it is a little tight to get the straps velcro’d on. I would say if my leg were larger, then it might be too tight to get the straps attached comfortably.So for me, this knee support is absolutely brilliant and gives me the support that I need and the additional strength to my knee bend. A definite 5 ***** from me.

Best product out there for the money!I’ve had knee injuries in the past and used similar products but this is most definitely superior. The 4 strap system offers additional support around the patella and made my knee feel solid and supported. There is also an elastic sleeve on the inside which you can put over your knee to prevent any potential rubbing, very well thought out and not an issue which I have seen addressed previously. There are two coils either side of the brace which provide additional support for lateral movement.All in all this product is of a very high quality and finish, you can tell the manufacturer has taken the time to develop an innovative new product which isn’t like everything else out there.I must also mention that the customer service is second to none and the Romix team offer a very personable service which gives you additional reassurance, thanks to Theo for all your help and support!

I have osteoarthritis in most of my joints and as I age sadly it gets worse, My knees are bad and I have had an op on one of them but the other, my left one, gives way frequently.Decided to have a go with one of these and I was amazed how comfortable it as to wear and how it helped my knee, keeping it stronger than it really is.this is made of a bright blue fluffy sort of fabric and stretches with adjustable straps to fit several sizes of knees.I can hide it under a skirt so when I go out I can wear it without it showing but with leggings it doesnt work, although at home I put it on over my leggings when I wear them and no one notices,Im happy with this and find it does exactly as it says on the tin

I have had various knee supports over the last few years . and have progressed from having my hips replaced . to my knees starting to wear out . I was in some pain after walking a short distance . so I decided on a supportive brace . which I purchased on line . I must say the brace has made life a lot more comfortable for me. I now wear it when the pain in my knee starts to play up . and find after a couple of days or so of my knee strapped in the right position . I can leave it off . I would recommend this product to anyone with knee problems .

This is a stretchy neoprene knee brace that is fastened with hook and loop (Velcro) fastenings and should fit most people. Only one size is available, which is what gave me hope and convinced me to give it a go.The stitching and manufacture of it is all spot on and there is little or nothing I can find fault with.Sadly it is not quite big enough to go round my knee, which is absolutely my fault and not the products.I wish it had fit me because my knee is currently hurting like mad and this would clearly have helped.The price is very reasonable given the obvious capabilities of the product. All in all I was more than happy with the product. I needed it to reduce swelling after a hard days skiing and it did that very well. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is I would have liked stronger support on the medial and lateral sides. It was reasonably strong but I just needed a bit more support!!

I was very pleased with this. It is easy to put on. The four fastenings give it all round security. The relief was instant. Although I am aware of it some of the time, I can forget the pain and just get on with things. Used for the first time yesterday when I went out running, and although only take up last year, I have already been diagnosed with severe arthritis of the knee (patella femoral joint), but have been informed that if I try and strengthen the muscles surrounding the joint it will help to stabilise the knee cap. However it usually means running in pain, and even worse when I stop. This brace when used yesterday seemed to stabilise the knee cap and I felt no pain at all during the run or after. I have now ordered a second one for the other knee so that it doesnt try and over compensate. I just hope the effects continue after prolonged wearing.

I was expecting to find these uncomfortable for all-day use, but some research has obviously gone into these. The pain in my knees is much better since using these knee supports and I haven’t felt any swelling from using them all day.They wash up easily enough in cold water by hand, and I hang them up to dry indoors on a drying frame, I don’t use a tumble dryer, so I cannot attest to how they behave in that.No issues with the fit for me. I’m a hefty chap and the large size fits well.very pleased!

I completely ruptured my ACL and had no stability in my leg. After 2 weeks I started wearing this and it has enabled me to walk and drive. Feels very supportive, easy to use and I could drive for 5 hours and do 10k+ steps a day using this. It’s been a couple of months now and the velcro has got a bit less sticky as it picks up fluff but I’ve been using it daily. I spent days looking at reviews of braces and am really glad I chose this one. Good value, comfortable for many hours wear and most importantly it gave me the leg stability I needed to get back on my feet again.

After damaging my knee on a run I could not put weight on it and had to use crutches in side of home for a good week and then out and about for a few weeks. On the third week a friend bought the Knee Support Brace over for me to try and immediately I could weight bear. I ordered one myself with arrived the following day and a week later I feel so much better and can weight bear. I am so tempted to go for a run but realise that would be silly and need to heal properly but I highly recommend this as it has worked for me. I would still get checked out by your health professional/physio though in case it is not the right type of brace for your injury.

The ROMIX Knee Support for Men Women arrives pocked in a box. I tried this on and put this on the wrong way round, then tried the other way round and made a good compact knee support for my my knee. In use this was practical and nicely facilitated what this is made for. I had a knee issue which occurred around 3 weeks ago and placed this on my knee when i walk for 20 minutes in the evening. I thought this was a good quality set and this facilitated what this is designed for to support the knee.
